“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path”.Psalm 119:105 (KJV)

The LORD is a lamp for us here at the Comforter’s Center and a light for us and those we serve to follow, so that each step  we take will be one of security in HIM.
Here bellow are mothers and their babies whose paths have been illuminated by HIS light.  Just as they were facing the dark days of uncertainty, as the enemy was trying to snatch their babies and their lives, His light kept them on the right path when they heard HIS word at the Comforter’s Center. And were able to make positive choices for their future.   HE is the light that can light our world!
One of the ways we say thank you to those who support us through prayers and financial donations are to let you see the fruit of your contributions.  We hope you enjoy looking at the faces of some of the babies born this year 2012 and their mothers saved from abortion.
The darkness of abortion in communities around the world cannot comprehend light: the light on our path is the basis of life to all creations. We are very grateful for your partnership. Together, we increase our effectiveness. Together, we can see and help others to see Jesus the word as the only way to find our way through darkness.
May His word be a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your path. God bless you.

The Comforter’s Center,Uganda

Every month the Comforter’s center gives out MAMA Kits to expectant mothers who are  in need.
A mama kit package contains a one meter piece of cotton cloth (baby wrapper), one laundry soap, a pair of gloves, a piece of cotton wool, small gauze, cord ligature, and a meter of polythene sheet which is used on the delivery table.  Previously, a mother would go to deliver their babies in the hospital with any cloth from home, most of the time an unwashed rag, to wrap the new born.

The impacts of the Comforter’s Center, Uganda are best seen in the faces of healthy mothers and their babies who receive our services and education before, during and after delivery! The majority of our clients are young women who should be in some secondary schools or colleges studying .Sometimes are young women who have grown up as orphans forced into their situation as victims of circumstances. Furthermore, most of those young mothers are poor, uneducated, and are more likely to live in poverty the rest of their lives.
